This prayer has been on my heart for over a month. I read a book from Michael Catt that really shook me, called the Power Of Surrender. I encourage all to read it. From the time I started reading it, till now, many sermons I have watched or heard are based around Nehemiah. One sermon in particular was A Call To Anguish by the late David Wilkerson. My dear friend, are you reading God's Word everyday? Do you go to church every week and especially Bible studies? Are you attending a church where all you hear is a message that makes you feel good ( great music and humorous sermons, with no conviction, ever)? My friend, God is a God of love, but He is also a Holy God. He gave us rules in which we are expected to follow. Repentance, doesn't mean to say sorry to God for what we did wrong and keep doing the same things. Repentance is a turning away from. Not to do it again. Can God find people that will give their whole heart to Him? People that will Praise and Worship Jesus daily? Ones that will read and meditate in His Word daily and act according to what it says? Do you want to feel the presence of God and for Him to work mightily in your life. Are you willing to pray more than once a week when you are in church? more like everyday, possibly many times a day?
I am looking to feel His presence. This country needs revival. If I am going to be another Nehemiah, so be it, but I am praying for others all over this land to join me in my cry. Will you be the one?
