McKenzie’s Edge
During his time of self-imposed isolation, McKenzie had exercised less and eaten more. He had gained a few extra pounds. Not so much that anyone would notice, anyone that is, except McKenzie.
McKenzie felt that he had lost his edge. His mind was less sharp and his reactions were slow. He didn’t like it, his keen instincts were fuzzy. It surely wasn’t only as a result of being slightly overweight, although that would certainly contribute, no, there was something else. Isolation and a lack of interactive relationships would also be a factor. However, the one main cause for McKenzie being under par was directly related to McKenzie’s distinct lack of adventure!
At heart, McKenzie was an adrenalin junkie and it had been far too long since his last fix. He was a man of action.
Now, with his project sufficiently advanced, it was time for McKenzie to start joining the dots. His first port of call was Pakistan. It was time to find out what was really going on with their nuclear arsenal…..
McKenzie’s first meeting in Lahore didn’t produce much although it was good to meet up with old friends. On his way to Multan, however, his driver detoured into Khanewal and things began to look up…..
1 John 3:18….Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

Actions Speak Louder than Words
1 John 3:18….Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
Love is both a noun and a verb. We do what it says. Platitudes will never be a substitute for passion. Even if we understand what love means, it will always be ‘better felt than telt’, as we say in Scotland.
However, love is not a masquerade nor is it a charade. Yet, multitudes of people have been horribly deceived by smooth-talking suitors. Sadly, many who sought true love have been short-changed by amorous advances and a fleeting fling.
People in love will go to great lengths to express their love……For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16). Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, willingly laid down His life because He loved us.
How far would you go to demonstrate your love for another?
Lord Jesus, thank you loving us even before we knew you. Amen

hi brother I was reading your blog post here, I guess I'm not up to date on things. I know about your ministry and your website. I hope you added your website to Bible study space top 100, in a few months I hope to index that site like this one on Google index directory. whenever I read your blog post. See the spirit of God shining through you. I'm not sure about your isolation, if you wrote a blog post about it I guess I missed it. I spent three weeks alone years ago to Site it helped me a lot just mean the Bible. but I haven't done it in years I hope to get away soon on my own. I think it helps to be out on your own with just you and God, but it seems like I'm always surrounded by people. Thanks for the blog post, I'll try to keep up with your ministry in the future, you're always in our prayers. God bless Frank
