The fruit of the Spirit is a definate and ongoing work of the Holy Spirit that resides in us after we have ask Jesus into our heart

and so invited Him

to be a part of our life

influencing every aspect of our being

The Holy Spirit produces these characteristics that are found in the nature of Christ being a result of Christ's authority working in us and through us.

IF HE LORD OF OUR LIFE?

To so connect with Christ involves knowing Him and so respond; with love being the chief motivator of all that transpires in our reactions in the avenues of life that we encounter

DO WE EXHIBIT THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT?

The acts of our own nature must be dealt with.

These include the sins of

sexual immorality and witchcraft

along with selfish ambition, hatred and jealousy

IF WE ARE TO LIVE BY THE SPIRIT

LET US KEEP IN STEP WITH THE SPIRIT

Galatians 5:19-25

The fruit of the Holy Spirit becomes a part of our life thus affecting our natural responses

Galatians 5:22-23

As a result of His love being an active part of our life the benefits include joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and self control

WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT CONTROLS THE LIFE OF A BELIEVER HE PRODUCES ALL OF THESE GRACES EFFECTING

OUR ATTITUDE WITH GOD

OUR RELATIONSHIPS ONE WITH ANOTHER

AS WELL AS

PRINCIPLES THAT GOVERN OUR CONDUCT

WALK IN THE SPIRIT

and

YE SHALL NOT FULFIL THE LUSTS OF THE FLESH

FOR THE FLESH LUSTETH AGAINST THE SPIRIT

but

IF YE BE LED OF THE SPIRIT

THEN THE CHARACTERISTICS THEREOF WILL BE EVIDENT
