A legacy of Love.........

Ohhh little one, what shall be the legacy to you?.........What will be here when you are sad and confused?........Will there be a place called America?..........Will freedom and liberty still ring thruout your land?.........Will the name of Jesus be proclaimed in your church and in your prayers?.......Will people in your world love truth and embrace goodness and peace?.........Will your world be better than mine?...........

What can I leave with you that you will remember me by?.........What shall be known as my passion?.........Shall it be silver or gold..........or maybe houses of stone?.........Shall it be faded memories or pictures so strange.............Will it be fishing trips or camping or days at the beach?.........


A LEGACY OF LOVE

In the face of all that is now................I shudder to think of little ones such as this...........but I know now that the only way in which I can really help is to pass on the legacy of love............to teach as best I know how, the things of God........His ways and His truths.............to persuade and to protect..........yes.............but much more than that.........to give the base for a life secure in Christ Jesus.............free from needless worries and the tribulation of the day...........free from fears of things not seen or of those on your doorstep...........confidence in the face of death and secure in the free grace of the Allmighty Lord.............the very best I can do is to make sure that there is time for me to say to you that God is love..............and sing to you that Jesus loves the little children...........to read to you all the bible stories from Adam to Revelation...........to bake cookies that say Jesus Lives or Happy Birthday Jesus...........to bring you with me to church every Sunday to learn the ways of God and to see you come to Christ in that glorious moment of salvation..............to see your face and look into your eyes and see the peace of Christ reflected back into mine..............What better thing could be done?...........My legacy to you dear one is a legacy of Christ..........a Legacy of Love..........
