Let your ears be open

Mark 4:23. “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.”

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY: Mark 4:21-25
21. And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick? 
22. For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. 
23. If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. 
24. And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. 
25. For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath. 

When your LORD Jesus Christ was on this earth, He spoke to those around Him in parables. Many could not understand. The few that understood were “the called of God.” The LORD’s desire was people should hear and repent and bring forth fruits worthy of repentance.

Today many have ears, but do you hear from God? Are your ears circumcised to hear only from God or are you hearing things that are not requisite for your spiritual cleansing? Today the LORD asks you to hear from God and do accordingly. Let not your gift of hearing be misused and do not sin because of that. Hear only those things that are profitable, that build your future in God and prove to be a blessing to you.

The LORD said if you hear more about God’s kingdom, more blessings will be added unto you. These days people hear unwanted things and by responding to them they land up in a mess but those who hear more from God are blessed more. Check your priority and find out whether your ears are attentive and open to the times you are living in today or whether you are neglecting what you hear from God? The human body is tuned to do what you hear hence hear good things pertaining to God’s kingdom for you shall be blessed by God Himself.

Prayer: LORD, help me to hear only fromThee. Amen.

Thought: Ears of God’s children are opened toGod’s cry.
