Blessings of Unanswered Prayer
Jesus said, "If you, then, though you are evil, know
how to give good gifts to your children, how much more
will your Father [God] in heaven give good gifts to
those who ask him!."1
Terry Fitzgerald Sieck shared how she "was in the
habit of praying very specifically for what she
wanted. She told God in great detail about the kind of
job, the kind of husband, the kind of life… Continue

A Professor stood at the front of his class and said,
I'll prove to you, if God exist, then he is evil. He asked,
did God create everything? If God created everything
then he created evil, which means God is evil.
Then a young man in his class stood up and said,
excuse me, professor does cold exist? The professor
says, what kind of question is that? Of course
it exists. Have you never been cold… Continue
Greetings to you in the name of our Living Lord Jesus Christ The Saviour of the World. Prayer gives us Strength and ability to work among the people with extra vigor. There is great Joy when we hear some one is praying for us as we are one in our aim to Proclaim the word of God to the people who have not heard His Divine Name or tasted His true Love. The basic of Gods love is to pray for one another. Our Loving and Living Saviour, Thank you Lord for giving us a new friend who is far off.…Continue
And God called on the God of Israel saying,
"Oh, that You would bless me indeed,
and enlarge my territory,
that Yourr hand would be with me,
and that You would keep me from evil,
that I may not cause pain!"
So God granted him what he requested.

Answer: The Bible presents several different resources to aid us in our effort to overcome sin. In this lifetime, we will never be perfectly victorious over sin (1 John 1:8), but that should still be our goal. With God’s help, and by following the principles of His Word, we can progressively overcome sin and become more and more like Christ.
The first resource the Bible mentions in our effort to overcome sin is the Holy…Continue
The consideration of God's universal dominion, and the universal acknowledgment of it, should restrain us from all irreverence in His service.
It is a righteous thing with God to withhold the blessings of grace from those that do not attend the means of grace, to deny the green pastures to those that attend not the shepherd's tents.
Many are crossed, and go backward, in their affairs, and this is at the bottom of it - they do not keep close to the worship of God as they… Continue

"Sing lustily and with a good courage. Beware of singing as if you were half dead or half asleep; but lift up your voice with strength. Be no more afraid of your voice now, nor more ashamed of its being heard, than when you sung the songs of Satan." - John Wesley
"Holy joy is that devout affection which should animate all our praises..."
"Spiritual joy is the heart and soul of thankful praise."
- both quotes are from Matthew Henry
God, whose stories shape our lives,
Forgive us when we tell stories to gossip.
Forgive us when we tell stories as lies.
Forgive us when we refuse to respond to stories of poverty and pain.
We are people who love a good story,
yet we ignore the greatest story ever told,
the story of Your Son.
Forgive us for making our stories more important
than the story of salvation and grace that You have
authored for our lives.
Help us to be people who live… Continue

“Let us ever glory in the cross of Christ; let us regard it as the source of all our hopes, and the foundation of all our peace. Ignorance and unbelief may see nothing in the sufferings of Calvary but the cruel martyrdom of an innocent person: faith will look far deeper; faith will see in the death of Jesus the payment of man’s enormous debt to God, and the complete salvation of all who believe.”

You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:32, NKJV
Winning a relay race depends not only on the speed of the runners but also on their skillful ability to transfer the baton. If the baton is dropped, precious seconds are wasted, and the race may be lost. If the runner fails to pass the baton, he is disqualified from the race altogether.
In the race of life, the "baton" is the truth that leads to personal faith in… Continue

1 Corinthians 3:9 specifically says - "...Ye are God's husbandry." In other words, you are His garden, field, or vineyard. You are His cultivated land, fertile tillage, sown field, or farm.
In the days of the Prophets - Jeremiah and Hosea - the word of the Lord came to the prophets respectively calling the people of Israel and Judah to cultivate the land of their hearts - which for so long had lain untilled due to idolatry and sin.
What type of word do you suppose the Lord… Continue

“Go to the cross of Christ, all you that want to be delivered from the power of selfishness. Go and see what a price was paid there to provide a ransom for your soul. Go and see what an astounding sacrifice was there made, that a door to eternal life might be provided for poor sinners like you. Go and see how the Son of God gave Himself for you, and learn to think it a small thing to give yourself to Him.”

What is this world coming to.
A school writes a contract with a shoe company. One student sticking to his rights of freedom of choice stays with his family’s brand of shoes, and the school is harassing the young man because he refuses to wear another style of shoes.
Good Lord above what is this country coming to?
We are supposed to be a country of freedom. Yet they want allow the children to wear the apparel that they feel is appropriate.
Every year there seems to be another… Continue
