After prayer last night, I realized that my distance from God was my own fault. My thoughts were clouded with worry and my soul has been downcast within. I shut myself off to God because my faith was not in His Word but in my circumstances and as a result, I lost my joy. I came to understand that my attitude was the cause of my lack of joy and the Power of His Word. Walking in the flesh will give you desolation..it will give you doubt..it will give you what you fret about. But, thanks be to God it is easy to get back on the path of righteousness and walk in step with Him again. It takes a humble heart, a confession of the heart and a willingness to turn away from the flesh and regain your spiritual walk. My only desire is to walk with the Lord all the days of my life; to experience the beauty of The Lord, and to always ask for His wisdom; to inquire in His temple.(Ps.24:7). I hope my mistakes help you to not walk the way I have been as of late.

Thanks to be God--Through Jesus Christ our Lord(Rom. 7:22-25). Lord, You sent Your Son to rescue me from this body of death! Set me free to a new life in You. I do not have to be a prisioner to sin.

Please help me understand that the battle which rages over my body originates in my mind. Help me to surrender my mind to You and Your truth.

Amazing the benefits it can bring!
Not always the person to whom it's directed,
But to the prayer it's him who's affected.
Scientific tests have validated this point,
That particular person is who they anoint,
Weather in church at home or afield,
Faith and sincerity has a far greater yield.
It's in the mind the body and soul,
Each specific person must have a goal,
Taking time out to focus on states,
Savouring the solitude and what it equates.
Expect not the moon or stars or skies,
But spiritually more than you realise,
What you do is profound and rare,
Plus the ability to understand and care

(Mat 5:46) For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax-collectors do the same?

(Rom 12:9) Let love be without hypocrisy, shrinking from evil, cleaving to good

(1Co 4:21) What do you desire? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and the spirit of meekness?

May we focus on The Word which commands us to love.
