He didn't follow the crowd, but the crowd followed Him. He didn't care what people thought. He feared no man. In the world but not of the world, He was an outsider...and He liked it that way.

Jesus spent most of His life on Earth on the outside.

Hebrews 13:12-13 says "And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through His own blood. Let us, then, go to Him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace He bore."

Jesus was taken outside of the camp to be crucified. Those who really loved Jesus and were closest to Him, had to venture outside the city walls to be near Him. Yet He would have it no other way. Jesus knew His purpose would be fulfilled on the outside. Can the same be said about you and your purpose?

Today we don't really like being on the outside. We want to be "in." We don't like feeling like an outsider, so we do everything we can to be part of the "in" crowd. After all, no one wants to feel alone. To avoid the outside we will drop our standards, loosen our morals, and re-adjust our values...all in hopes of acceptance. To some people, the only thing that matters is the approval of others.

Jesus did things differently. He never looked for the approval of men, only the approval of Heaven. He knew that abundant life, joy, peace, and the Father's blessing would be found outside the camp...and so He went. You'll be hard pressed to find the will of God inside the camp. That still small voice can be hard to hear in a crowd.

Jesus' loved ones followed Him outside the camp when He was crucified. They were part of that experience and were drawn closer to Him as a result. It may not always feel like it to us, but we are closest to Jesus when we are outside of the camp. Jesus draws near to those who draw near to Him.

Remember, it's better to be in God's will alone than out of God's will in a crowd. The crowd will only keep you from being close to Jesus. Get out of that crowd! Seriously, do it now! Make a break for it and run like mad!

Follow Jesus outside the camp today! Leave the comfort of man's approval and the desire to be "in" that brings you a false sense of security and purpose.

I think I hear Him calling your name...go ahead, Follow Him outside.

What are we all about

Paul tells us in 1 Timothy 4:07, " Discipline yourself for the purpost of godliness. "

But what is a godly person ? Christ became a man, so we can see how God intended us to behave, Jesus is our example of godliness.Therefor a godly person is a Christlike person. How to become a Christlike person will demand a change in attitude and behavior. Becoming more like Christ, by sharing His experiences; by living life as Jesus lived it on earth is the key.

Disciplining ourselves will require focused thinking.

1. When we surrender our life to God's will, do it with the sole purpose in your mind to become more like Christ.

2. When we pray and encourage each other daily, we are sharing His experiences, by living life as Jesus lived it .

3. Encourage and inspire each other daily, " Discipline yourself for the purpost of godliness. "

4. Not only are you helping others grow in the faith, you are also grow in your faith by praying for others.

5. We send out prayer request almost everyday, with a link to there site. Leave a message and prayer for them, like Jesus would do.
Add them has a friend, have fellowship with the brothers and sisters in Christ.

Everyone has a calling from God, my calling is to encourage others in the faith. Here is a devotional to help you in your spiritual growth.

The Holy Spirit will Guide Us

The Bible tells us, that the Holy Spirit will guide us, but the Holy Spirit will not control us. Jesus doesn't say that the Holy Spirit will force us to do anything, Jesus said guide us. Sometimes, I wish the Holy Spirit would control me. The Spirit is our guide, so we are always responsible for our words and actions. The Spirit guides believers to the truth.

The Holy Spirit helps us believers discern between what is true and what is not. In everyday living the Holy Spirit will guide you, He will give you that extra discernment of the Spirit. You will develop a sensitivity to the Spirit guidance, and you will worry less about the decisions you make in life.

When you think about it makes perfect sense, after all the Holy Spirit is in you. He has direct access to our minds, emotions, and consciences. He is prefect for communicating God's will for our life.

Welcome Brother. There are many who believe in Christ in this community. Jesus is our every breath. Without Him, there is no Life. So many are walking and moving but are not living. Let us pray that our Father will open their eyes to see the Truth. Grace unto.

May the vicarious life of our Lord Jesus Christ be our reality as we remain in Him.

Hidden in Christ,

Hebrews 12:2
