Prayer Request
Pray that I would understand God's plan for me.
About Me
Not much to tell really. I'm a country boy at heart. Married with five children and a wife who treats me like an honored guest in my own home.
About my Family
My wife, Susan and children (Gabriel, Emily, Dylan, Connor & Owen) are the world to me.
What has God called me to do.
I'm not sure. Sometimes I think I'm too broken a vessel to be much good to God. Then I think about people like Gideon and it brings me back to the reality that with God, all things are possible.
My Church, Ministry, or House Church
I work on telling everyone about the Good News. If Jesus Christ could save a sinner like me, there's hope for everyone who will place their faith in HIM.
Music
I like old hymns.
The Name of My Christian Ministry
Don't have a special name for it.

Giving Thanks

I'm a black and white kind of guy. There's not a lot of gray areas in my life. Things are either right or wrong without a lot of wiggle room between the black and white way I see the world.

I believe God is a black and white God. The things we do, speak, think or feel are either righteous or unrighteous without a lot of gray in the middle. When I read God's Word, I don't find a lot of room for interpretation as some seem to see in between the words. When God directed man to record… Continue

THE CHRIST WITHIN YOU

The fact that there is to be a great transformation take place in our lives through a relationship with Christ Jesus is a fact which is either many times completely ignored or so vaguely mentioned that no one hears it, believes it or wants to know about it. Some will say that this transformation takes place at the time of our physical death, but the scriptures declare that it comes about through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ being activated into the life of the believer.

This transformation is spoken of as 'putting off the old man of sin and putting on the new man' who is created into God-image through Christ. The apostle Paul declared that humanity has already been translated into the kingdom of the Son, that he has already died, and been raised and seated together with Christ in the heavenly places far above all principalities and powers ! One cannot read the epistles of the apostle Paul and not see that The Lord Jesus took humanity with him from Golgotha to glory, and that man has indeed been already risen and God sees him now through the accomplished work of Christ Jesus. The glorious redemption of mankind through Christ has been watered down to just a story told, something we talk about and never see, because we have not allowed the finished work of calvary to become alive in our lives! Until the fact that you have already died and been resurrected in Christ Jesus dawns upon your heart and mind, and becomes a living reality in your life then my friend, you have not yet known him!

Paul emphatically, speaks in the past-tense form here ; that is he states clearly that 'you are dead, and hid away in Christ! ( Col. ch 3; ver. 3.)..................ver. 9-10 ' seeing that you have put off the old man , and have put-on the new-man, renewed in knowledge after the image of his creator! Man is not in the image of God until he is recreated in and through Christ Jesus. The wonderful, awesome fact that we have been carried away in Christ is a fact which is settled in heaven before the throne of the Father, but man in his ignorance and unbelief has not allowed this fact to become real in his life, so he stumbles and falls , becomes confused and discouraged, and ultimately he looses his way . We find in Philippians ch 3; ver. 10 ' that I may know him, and the power of His resurrection; 'being made conformable to his death!
I see you around the site alot, inspiring and encouraging others to become more Christ like. You can do it with a picture on our Myspace Code page.

Just leave a picture, and inspire others in the faith, and a few words to inspire them. God will bless you, and you will grow in your walk with Christ.

I could tell you so many testimonies, about how God is blessing some of us, because faith without action is no faith at all. But we see you have the Spirit and faith to encorage others to follow Christ.

I am sending the prayer request out. let me know if you have any. My ministry is to encourage others to become more like Christ, and inspire you to a higher calling for God. Here a devoltional to bless you.

This means that Christ brought us there but this fact must become a reality to us by the Christ within. It was for this endtime people , this harvest time people that this awesome reality was to manifest itself! A new creation is coming forth from the womb of the mother church! We are being translated from the feminine spirit of the mother church into the masculine spirit of the Sonship of Jesus Christ, and nothing in this world or any other world can stop this process of the Holy Ghost to bring forth Gods fruit of the earth for which He has so long waited for!

This translation, this conformation, this transformation, is taking place in this very hour among those who have received the love of the truth more than a love for traditional doctrine. We are in a time when the Christ within must be allowed access to every phase of your life to take away and add to it as he chooses to mold and transform you into the new man of God's new creation. If the Christ within is not allowed access to all of your life then He will surely depart because in this day He must appear in His true form as King of Kings and Lord of Lords , even in your heart and life!

God Bless
Your Brother in Christ

Trials And Tribulations
We are a generation of Christians who are so fearful of the word "tribulations." But trials and tribulations are part and parcel of the Christian life. In fact, Jesus promises: "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" (John 16:33).

Tribulation is a promise from God. And when we are spiritually and psychologically prepared to tackle them, we won't be shocked or caught unaware when they do show up.

Why does God allow trials and tribulations? Because as terrible as they may be, they are good for our spiritual development. Romans 5:3-4 says, "And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope." Basically, Paul is saying that you should rejoice in tribulation because it builds a backbone of steel and character in you. And you need those two things if you want to see your visions and dreams coming to pass.

Today, there are many Christians who believe that God will never allow His children to suffer. Unfortunately, the escaping of tribulations is never supported in the scriptures. God is more interested in your character than in your comfort.

Just look at the disciple whom Jesus loved the most--John. He was imprisoned on the island of Patmos for his faith in Christ. How did John address himself? he said, "I am your brother and companion in tribulation" (Rev. 1:9).

Tradition has it that John was eventually killed by being boiled in a pot of oil. But wait a minute! Wasn't he the favourite disciple of Jesus? Then shouldn't Jesus have done something for His most beloved follower? If Jesus didn't exempt John from trials and tribulations, what makes you think you are any more special?

In these end-times, God is not raising up a congregation of softies. He is raising up an army that can endure hardship for Him. Don't be afraid of the many trials and tribulations you may have to go through.

Paul says, "We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22). When you face sufferings (or persecution!) for you faith in Jesus, you will receive special grace to go through them in that hour.

Remember: "If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you...If you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name" (1 Pet. 4:14,16 NIV).

Paul tells us in 1 Timothy 4:07, " Discipline yourself for the purpost of godliness. "

But what is a godly person ? Christ became a man, so we can see how God intended us to behave, Jesus is our example of godliness. Therefor a godly person is a Christlike person. How to become a Christlike person will demand a change in attitude and behavior. Focused spiritual disciplines, this will not be easy. By becoming more like Christ, by sharing His experiences; by living life as Jesus lived it on earth.

Allowing the Holy Spirit to shape you by the disciplines from inside out. We will become more like Him, but it will take time and actions.
When we pray, pray so that you may know Christ. When we surrender our life to God's will and not our own. Do it with the sole purpose in mind to know Christ.

Disciplining ourselves will require the same kind of focused thinking.

When we pray and encourage each other daily, we are sharing His experiences, by living life as Jesus lived it on earth .

By writing a blog posts about the faith, or the teachings of Christ. We are living life as Christ would lived it on earth.

We send out prayer request almost everyday, with a link to there site. Leave a message and prayer for them, like Jesus would do.
Add them has a friend, have fellowship with the brothers and sisters in Christ. Jesus Christ would encourage, pray and help others
grow in the faith, and everyday we are becoming more Christlike; living life as Jesus lived it on earth.

Everyone has a calling from God, my calling is to encourage others in the faith. Here is a devotional to help you in your spiritual growth here is a devotionals

The Holy Spirit will Guide Us

The Bible tells us, that the Holy Spirit will guide us, but the Holy Spirit will not control us. Jesus doesn't say that the Holy Spirit will force us to do anything, Jesus said guide us. Sometimes, I wish the Holy Spirit would control me. The Spirit is our guide, so we are always responsible for our words and actions. The Spirit guides believers to the truth.

The Holy Spirit helps us believers discern between what is true and what is not. In everyday living the Holy Spirit will guide you, He will give you that extra discernment of the Spirit. You will develop a sensitivity to the Spirit guidance, and you will worry less about the decisions you make in life.

When you think about it makes perfect sense, after all the Holy Spirit is in you. He has direct access to our minds, emotions, and consciences. He is prefect for communicating God's will for our life.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

"Poor in spirit" means to be humble. Humility is the realization that all your gifts and blessings come from the grace of God. To have poverty of spirit means to be completely empty and open to the Word of God. We are humble. Humility brings an openness and an inner peace, allowing one to do the will of God. It is pride, the opposite of humility, that brings misery. For pride brings anger and the seeking of revenge, especially when one is offended. If every man were humble and poor in spirit, there would be no war!

"Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted."
If we are humble and appreciate that all of our gifts and blessings come from God, we grow in love and gratitude for Jesus Christ our Savior. But this can only produce mourning and regret over our own sins and the sins of this world, for we have hurt the one who has been so good to us.

"Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied."

The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit and their necessity in fulfilling the Beatitudes. For example, one must have the gift of fortitude so one may be courageous in seeking justice.

"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."

A humble person becomes meek, or becomes gentle and kind, even in the face of adversity and hardship. The will of God are certainly not in vogue these days, but they will bring one peace in this world and in the next.

"Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God."

Jesus says the pure of heart shall see God! To be pure of heart means to be free of all selfish intentions and self-seeking desires. What a beautiful goal! How many times have any of us performed an act perfectly free of any personal gain? Such an act is pure love. An act of pure and selfless giving brings happiness to all.

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.

" Peacemakers not only live peaceful lives but also try to bring peace and friendship to others. The Lord wants you first to be yourself filled with the blessings of peace and then to communicate it to those who have need of it. By imitating God's love of man, the peacemakers become children of God.

"Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."

Jesus said many times that those who follow Him will be persecuted. "If they persecute me, they will persecute you" (John 15:20-21). Stephen, Peter and Paul, nearly all of the Apostles, and many Christians in the Roman era suffered martyrdom. But the Lord promised those that suffer for his sake will be rewarded with the Kingdom of Heaven!

We encourage, pray and help each other grow in the faith, Welcome to the site, may God bless you. ) My calling from God is praying and encouraging others to become more like Christ. Here is a devotional to help you in your spiritual growth, and inspire you to a higher calling for God.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus and of his Father. A recurring theme of the New Testament is that Jesus would baptize his followers with the very Spirit of God. In Acts 2, the apostle Peter cites a prophecy of Joel 2:28 : "... I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions."

The apostle Paul tells us about: "the Spirit of God," "the Spirit of Christ," and "Christ."

"You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you" (Rom. 8:9-11). In keeping with this usage, Paul thinks of Jesus as having become, at his resurrection, a "life-giving Spirit" (1 Cor. 15:45).

The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you" (Jn. 14:15-18, NIV). In the coming of God's Spirit to people, Jesus himself comes. The Holy Spirit, according to John and Paul, is as much the Spirit of Jesus as the Spirit of his Father.

The power of love in a follower of Jesus, the Good News that God’s Spirit has truly intervened in human lives. 1 John 4:1 advises us to “test the spirits to see whether they are of God” rather than to believe every spirit. Jesus offers the same advice: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.... Every sound tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit. A sound tree cannot bear evil fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit” (Matt. 7:15-18). We can know the reality of the presence of God’s Spirit by means of the fruits yielded by His Spirit. God's Spirit makes one loving (to some discernible degree) as Jesus is loving.

This is the primary fruit of the Spirit, and it is identifiable and testable in a person’s life. The presence of God’s Spirit thus comes with salient evidence observable by any suitably attentive person. Paul writes: " those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs — heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory (Rom. 8:14-17, NIV).

God's Spirit testifies directly to us that we are children of the living God. Paul puts this lesson in other words: "We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God in order that we may understand what God has freely given us" (1 Cor. 2:12). We need the Spirit of God to apprehend the things of God.

We will understand this Spirit’s reality only if we are willing to have “eyes to see and ears to hear” We must open ourselves to be attuned to receive God’s Spirit. Even in the case of our knowing God, God seeks to move our wills toward obedience to His perfect will, just as Jesus obeyed in Gethsemane. The true God, being perfectly loving, seeks to have us learn to love and to obey as Jesus loves and obeys. In learning thus, we enter in to friendship with God through His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus. This friendship is the only antidote to the destructive power of our idols. Will we receive it? Our lives depend on it.
