The Model Prayer
1 Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.”
2 So He said to them, “When you pray, say:
Our Father in heaven,[a]
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.[b]
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
4 And forgive us our sins,
For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.” [c]
9After this manner therefore pray you:
Our Father which art in heaven,
I cannot pray "OUR," if my faith has no room for others and their need.
I cannot pray "FATHER," if I do not demonstrate this relationship to God in my daily living.
I cannot pray "WHO ART IN HEAVEN," if all of my interests and pursuits are in earthly things
Hallowed be your name.
I cannot pray "WHO ART IN HEAVEN," if all of my interests and pursuits are in earthly things
Your kingdom come.
I cannot pray "THY KINGDOM COME," if I am unwilling to accept God's rule in my life.
Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
I cannot pray "THY WILL BE DONE," if I am unwilling or resentful of having it in my life
I cannot pray "IN EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN," unless I am truly ready to give myself to God’s service here and now
Give us this day our daily bread.
I cannot pray "GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD," without expending honest effort for it or if I would withhold from my neighbour the bread I receive
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
I cannot pray "FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES AS WE FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US," if I continue to harbour a grudge against anyone
14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father, will also forgive you: 15But if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses
And lead us not into temptation,
I cannot pray "LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION," if I deliberately choose to remain in a situation where I am likely to be tempted
but deliver us from evil:
I cannot pray "DELIVER US FROM EVIL," if I am not prepared to fight with my life and my prayer.
For yours is the kingdom,
I cannot pray "THINE IS THE KINGDOM," if I am unwilling to obey the King.
and the power, and the glory,
I cannot pray "THINE IS THE POWER AND THE GLORY," if I am seeking power for myself and my own glory first
for ever and ever.
I cannot pray 'FOREVER AND EVER," if I am too anxious about each day's affairs.
Amen.
I cannot pray "AMEN," unless I honestly say "Not MY will, but THY will be done, so let it Be

Selfish People will never get victory over sin, overcome the flesh or die to the self. Salvation begins with faith ( Trust ) but many Christians are frustrated trying to live the Christian life.
They want to be like Christ, but fail again and again to get victory over sin, overcome the flesh and die to the self. Bible Study is the only way to Spiritual Maturity and Spiritual growth.
When we grow in our knowledge of God. Faith must grow in our spirit, only with the knowledge of God do we become spiritual maturity.
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Now some members don't have a personal website, so I link it back to your page on bible study space. I can change this link at any time to your face book or if you build a personal website.
