Matthew 5:10
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for
theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 6:19-21
Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust
doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up
for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust
doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For
where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Luke 6:22-23
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall
separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast
out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in
that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in
heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the
prophets.
Luke 12:32-34
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to
give you the kingdom. Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide
yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that
faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Luke 16:19-31
There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine
linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain
beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich
man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it
came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels
into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And
in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham
afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father
Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the
tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented
in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy
lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil
things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside
all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that
they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they
pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee
therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's
house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them,
lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto
him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he
said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead,
they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and
the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from
the dead.
Luke 23:43
And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou
be with me in paradise.
John 3:13
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from
heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
Acts
2:29-35
en and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch
David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with
us unto this day. Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God
had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins,
according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his
throne; He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ,
that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see
corruption. This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are
witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and
having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he
hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. For David is not
ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto
my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy
footstool.
2 Corinthians
5:1-5
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were
dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands,
eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to
be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that
being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this
tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be
unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up
of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God,
who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
Colossians
1:5-6
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard
before in the word of the truth of the gospel; Which is come unto
you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it
doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace
of God in truth:
2 Timothy 4:18
And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will
preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever
and ever. Amen.
Hebrews 8:1-6
Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have
such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of
the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the
true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. For every
high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it
is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. For if
he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are
priests that offer gifts according to the law: Who serve unto the
example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of
God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he,
that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee
in the mount. But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry,
by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was
established upon better promises.
Revelation
21:1-3
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and
the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I
John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of
heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a
great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is
with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his
people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their
God.
