To those who have love for the word of God, more love will be given. To those who already have the beginning of wisdom which is the fear of the Lord, more will be given! To those who want to use the word of God as a weapon against satan and an ointment for healing our brethren's hearts, more revelation and knowledge will be given, so we can apply the specific word of God for each.
If we understood how powerful this book is, we'd find the time to study it carefully! May the Lord put in us the fire of zeal for it! May we find Jesus the Living Word in every page.
To those who love and share the Word of God, here's a promise for you. Inside each one of you is a fountain of living waters. The more of it you share, the more abundantly will it flow. You will find that, at the very moment when you begin speaking about God's word, more revelation will be provided, more connections between different passages, more verses will come to your memory. The Holy Spirit is an awesome teacher!

Amen! The other day I was meditating on this very verse. One thing that called my attention is the BY in the second part of the verse. I'd never noticed that the Bible actually says "Hearing comes by the word of God." What that says is that by exposing ourselves to the Word of God (either by reading it ourselves at home, reading it in good Christian books, listening to our brothers and sisters' exhortations, listening to good preaching, we gain in the capacity to hear and understand more of it. Jesus said "Those who have an ear, let them hear". If we have a heart that desires to know what God wants for us and are willing to obey whatever He commands in His word, we will grow in wisdom. May the words in Psalms 1, 19 and 119 apply to us. May we love God's word as David did!

"Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God"(Romans 10:17, NKJV).

THOUGHTS: Did you know that your faith in God can grow and increase every single day? Notice today's scripture doesn't say, "Faith comes because you have heard the Word of God one time." No, it says that "faith comes by hearing"—in the present tense.


Sure, God's Word can transform us in an instant; but most of the time, we need to hear God's principles over and over again before they become active in our lives. God's truth sets us free and puts His plan for our lives into motion. As you study the Word of God, it chisels away at the doubt and unbelief that's been built up over the years. And, just as a seed needs water to grow daily; your spirit needs the Word of God daily. The more you hear God's promises, the more you know Him, and the more confidence you will have to believe His word.


I encourage you to choose a few verses to meditate on daily. Write them down and carry them in your purse or wallet. The more you hear the Word of God, the more your faith will grow, and you will move forward in the freedom and victory He has for you!


PRAYER: Father in heaven, thank You for Your Word that is living and active and growing in my life. I submit myself to You today. Teach me Your ways and give me insight into Your Word so that I may know You. In Jesus' Name. Amen."

God calls us all to step up to the plate. So called. To go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 28:19 So we need to tells others the good news of Christ and to share what Christ has done for us. I fully believe that this is my purpose is to share His love and His Word with others so that they may turn their lives around and over to God.
