Christian social networking for Bible Study and Spiritual Growth.
It is not uncommon for Christians to be persecuted in this nation. It has been going on for more than 30 years that I am aware of. I first started going to Pakistan tp preach/teach in that nation in 1980 and already a mild form of persecution and separation was taking place, with job preferences being awarded to Muslims over Christians, despite who had the best qualifications and/or experience.
In the 1990's the persecution became more targetted with the introduction of the Blasphemy Laws and then the extermists had a legal method of persecuting Christians, as prisons began to fill up with people accused with blaspheming Mohammad.
The fact that Galatians chapter 4 clearly indicates that the children of Hagar shall be subordinate to the children of the promise (the children of Isaac) was overlooked in the evangelism process and Christian teaching in all the churches in Pakistan. In fact when you mentioned this some pastors denied it, until,it was shown to them in black & white in the scriptures.
This fact needs to be taught in all churches in the western society, (especially in Bible Colleges) so that missionaries going to Islamic countries have the true facts about Islam at their fingertips.
