USING GOD'S WORD THE HOLY BIBLE IS THE BEST WAY TO WITNESS

God's Word is the perfect communications tool. When sharing your faith, it can really help to know a few Scripture passages. Just as babies learn to walk and talk by following the examples of those around them, you can be a great example -- and a great encouragement to others -- if you know your Bible.

Here are a few verses for dealing with commonly asked questions.

There are many other passages you can use. Think of these as just a starting point for sharing.

 GOD’S COMPLETE LOVE

John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; God's unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life”.

Ephesian 3:18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is.

JESUS AS GOD

John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made."

John 10:30 "The Father and I are one."

CERTAINTY OF OUR SALVATION

John 3:36 And all who believe in God's Son have eternal life. Those who don't obey the Son will never experience eternal life, but the wrath of God remains upon them."

John 5:24 "I assure you, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life."

John 6:47 "I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life."

John 8:32 “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

NO OTHER WAY EXCEPT THROUGH JESUS

Romans 10:9 For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

John 14:6 Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

EVIDENCE OF RESURRECTION

Luke 24:6 He isn't here! He has risen from the dead! Don't you remember what he told you back in Galilee,

Luke 24:36-43 "While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, 'Peace be with you.' They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. He said to them, 'Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.' When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, 'Do you have anything here to eat?' They gave him a piece of broiled fish, and he took it and ate it in their presence."

John 20:27-29 "Then he said to Thomas, 'Put your finger here and see my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don't be faithless any longer. Believe!' 'My Lord and my God!' Thomas exclaimed. Then Jesus told him, 'You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who haven't seen me and believe anyway.'"

FORETOLD LONG BEFORE JESUS’ BIRTH

Isaiah 9:6 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on his shoulders. These will be his royal titles: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 53:5. But he was wounded and crushed for our sins. He was beaten that we might have peace. He was whipped, and we were healed!

Another witnessing plan below

AS SIMPLE AS

John sat across from me in a chair, his face a radiant glow, wiping away tears, and his heart filled with a great sweeping sense of peace.

He looked at me and said, "Pastor, You mean all of my sins are forgiven? Every one of them?"

I replied, "Yes, John. All of them.  Every sin you have ever committed are forgiven."

Then he asked a question I shall never forget. "Why do we make it so difficult?"

People tend to make spiritual things a lot more complicated than God intended them to be. However, Jesus gave a promise for everyone to claim by simple faith.

Commandments and Beatitudes

Some have said that Yeshua is like Moses for several reasons and one of these is that just as Moses received the decalogue upon the mountain from the hand of God (Exodus 20), Yeshua handled the Beatitudes upon a mount also (Matthew 5), but…See More
