May be your pride, as well as your so set in your ways that you refuse to bend to the will of God.
My reply? Hum I first thought I do not see the word love in any of these scriptures, but on second thought all scripture is born out of love. Actually the reply I made is my major faults, as far as I can see them. I only needed to read to verse 13 though I did have to read to the end for conscience sake. As of now I dare not say more least I bring myself under the arms of some great burden to bear. Or something like that. I love to debate but am ignorant on how, I have a pestiferous spirit at times and rip and tear when not eye to eye. Certainly have been chastised for it and long for no more May the Lord bless you and all of yours.Perhaps... Or perhaps both... Or perhaps neither... Or maybe something other.
2 Corinthians 10
12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
13 But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.
14 For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:
15 Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,
16 To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand.
17 But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
18 For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
What are your views on this scripture, Dennis?
Well stated. It has been some time since I have read a reply so discreet, but so honest. I will witness your words as truly stated, even as you have written them, and I will humbly offer that my experience has been the same. Friend, we have all eaten our share of that proverbial "humble pie" as it were in that great quest for righteousness and truth. It is my persuasion that those who manage to get it all right don't remain on this accursed planet much longer. I likely don't have to tell you that you're not alone. I guess the reason it bothers me when people delete their posts after I answer them is because it puts me in a bad light: 1) It makes me look as though I'm ranting away to myself (unless I quote them) 2) It makes me look as though I am some fascist tyrant that deletes every post that doesn't suit my personal agenda. 3) It makes me look bad.
Perhaps that is my problem then. Perhaps I am more concerned about my image than the message that I share. For someone in my position, it would be an easy trap for me to fall into. Maybe that is the way it is for most of those who would practice what they preach. I think that perhaps also to some extent, we might both share this proclivity to 'rip and tear', as you put it, despite the fact that I am not in the habit of deleting replies and have deleted no one's replies here, so far. For the most part, I am able to answer those who reply to my missives; and, for those precious gems of truth which have managed to silence me, I have copied and pasted them into my personal archives for reflection and keep them as reminders that we all have so much to learn.
Recently I learned something about the Jesuit priesthood that totally shocked me. Although I was well-aware of their connection to the Roman Catholic Church, I did not know that the "all-seeing eye" of Isis (in the pyramid) was placed over every Jesuit sepulchure. This I did not know. I learned this here, in Bible Study Space .com. This information is more profound, I believe, than it may appear to be on the surface; but I will spare you that rant for the time being.
Bending to the will of the Father is a subject that I can hardly satisfy in a single post, but I would like to offer a little on this topic, since you mentioned it. It has also been my experience that those who have truly purposed in their hearts to bend to the will of the Father are also met with great resistence by others. Things are often not what they seem. In these last days, we live in a society where the bitter is set forth for the sweet and vice-versa. We have been conditioned to believe that the good is evil and that the evil is good. Many changes in our culture and our traditions have led us to deviate from the old paths and the good way. If a godly and righteous man scarcely lived two thousand years ago, how much more so, do you suppose, that a righteous man will live in these last days? If they killed the prophets and the saints when the Son of man walked upon the earth how much more will they persecute those who bend to the will of the Father to day? That said, GOD's people are a peculiar people. They stand out in a crowd. They are the light of the world and the world despises them because the world does not love the true light; but it must needs be so that prophecy is fulfilled. Whether we like it or not, the democratic majority DO NOT make it to heaven and this is worthy of contemplation concerning our nations.
GOD's people will always stand out. The things that they say will rarely ever be popular, even in forums like this. They will continually be regarded as perverts, dissenters, trouble makers, even criminals. The "squeaky-clean" and well-polished images of the televangelists and professional religionists of this day and age hardly glorify GOD. The world will certainly take occasion with those who have truly made a point of bending to the will of the Father much sooner than it will be moved to attack the charlatans on television programs and those wolves that have registered their religions to Caesar for tax exemption. The common projection the world readily stoops to is manifest: They are continually judged according to their own deceitful hearts, even as they have judged others in their own deceit. I am by no means perfect; but I am also continually being perfected. Bending to the will of the Father is to keep His commandments, to contend for the doctrine that was once delivered to the saints, and to strive to lift up that standard of holiness unto GOD. This is no easy feat, but with GOD all things are possible. I am finding that things are rarely what they seem. Thankyou for your forthright reply.
GOD bless you and your house
As I mentioned before we have views differing on some things. I hesitated to inform you of my view on the following. Seeing how you brought in the matter; I feel I must comment.I was captured on media just this summer for a short spell. I also remember chatting with about half a dozen journalists. It is not my intention to establish any measure of popularity. There is a reason I live so far north, at the edge of the wilderness. I recall telling one journalist that I was not afraid because I was a man of faith. It was about there where I was quickly dropped by the media. . . The media does not want to hear about faith. It's hard enough for them to follow a miracle on national news. I suspect there are many miracles being wrought in the world that are not covered by the media. Sometimes it can be a little awkward. For the time being I will continue to work on my book and some of my web sites. Even these, I have kept to a low simmer being a father once again, of two precious daughters; but the time has come to take up the pen again and return to my book. It seems there is never enough time in a day. I am deeply concerned for the generation that follows mine. I have been praying for direction. I welcome the prayers of my peers.

In the body of Christ, each of us has our personal gift from God. Each of us was formed by God in the womb of our mother. Though our mortal bodies of flesh and blood bear corruption, incorruption is born of that spiritual body; but not the flesh. In the resurrection, our corruption will fall away as dross in the refiner's fire. We will be as beings of light with the ability to manifest in corporeal bodies of our own, even as Christ appeared before the one who doubted it. We will be as angels... Neither marrying, nor giving in marriage (as some suppose) but married for eternity in the body of Christ, being one with the Bride and the Lamb, and the Church being a GREAT MULTITUDE in the body. This is that Mystery that is shunned by the fleshly... The same Mystery that Babylon shudders from. Use the test well... See how many are still in Babylon... Try the spirits.
May GOD be with you
Thankyou for your very extensive missive, Dennis. We may actually agree more than you suspect. I don't have much time at the moment to do your work here any justice but I would like to state that we are moving into the area of strong meat here, that without that direction and leadership of the Holy Spirit (which some have erroneously believed to be a "female" spirit) you and I would both be treading on very dangerous ground, broaching this particular subject. Before I leave to tend to my family errands and responsibilities I would just like to state that I only wish I had a pastor where I live bearing that spiritual authority which I have been granted from the providence of a most merciful and most gracious Father. I realize this comes off as arrogance on my part but as I openly stated in my earlier missive, I have tried the spirits and found them wanting. I am seriously considering moving elsewhere.
This much I am certain of: Man was made in the image of the Creator. The Person of that Creator is none other than the Son of man, Who is also the Son of GOD. First and foremost GOD is a Spirit. I am of the full persuasion that a Spirit hath not gender as the fleshly mind perceives gender; but the Son of GOD is indeed a man and he is not a woman. The Spirit of GOD is indeed a Father and not a mother, or Mother. Unlike many trinitarians, I do not believe that Mary is the "Mother of GOD". I believe that Mary gave birth to the Person of GOD in the flesh. There is a difference.
JESUS is the example that all who dwell in the Body of Christ must follow. All of us will fall short of His glory and I am not sorry that none should glory before my LORD and SAVIOUR. All the glory is His. That said, Eve came out of the Adam and not the other way around. All flesh born of a woman must die and be born again. The resurrection is not only spiritual (as carnality comprehends spiritual) but corporeal also. We, who are found in JESUS, will indeed be as the angels who also manifested at the Hand of GOD, even in corporeal bodies as Christ did after having first resurrected from the tomb. JESUS also told his disciples to call no man father, for we all have one Father in heaven. I would submit that this truth should apply to all the saints of GOD. I will leave you to reflect upon these words for the time being, Dennis. As a father, my work is never finished; but JESUS is the Author and finisher of our faith.
May the only wise GOD continue to bless you in the knowledge of full Bible truth

You said;( Though our mortal bodies of flesh and blood bear corruption, incorruption is born of that spiritual body) (We will be as angels... Neither marrying, nor giving in marriage (as some suppose) but married for eternity in the body of Christ, being one with the Bride and the Lamb, and the Church being a GREAT MULTITUDE in the body.)
I have to comment on that with the following study I have been working on for some while.
Women Teachers Pastors
Lord Give us understanding that we might obtain the things of your Spirit in Love and humility of spirit.
2nd Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
6 Who also has made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.
Gal 3.28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
God calls the things that are not as though they are. And the things that are as though they are not.
1 Corinthians 1.27-28
27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, has God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to naught things that are: 29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
1 Cor 2.9-16
9. But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.
10 But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man, which is in him? Even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
There is a difference between; accepting Jesus and being baptized in water; than being baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Acts 8:12-17
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
17 Then!!! they laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
If you have been truly baptized with the spirit of God then you should seek to be led of and taught by the Spirit of God.
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on to perfection. If you be led of the Spirit, you are not under the law. However, grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
Hebrews 6.1 Galatians 5:18 2 Peter 3.18
Gal 3.28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Now once one has been Baptized in the Baptism of the Spirit you are no more carnal but Spiritual.)Then we can begin to acquire the knowledge and understanding of the things of the spirit. It is then that A woman at the pulpit anointed by God is neither male nor female but spiritual, therefore they qualify for the high calling of God.
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. If you be led of the Spirit, you are not under the law.
1 Cor 6:17 Galatians 5:18
1 Cor 3:1 And I, brothers, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal,
1 Cor 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
In the following Paul was referring to the people as carnal not yet spiritual, so he took advantage of the carnal laws keeping order in the church that the Lord might be able to bring them out of the fleshy mindedness into the spiritual.
(Suffer not a woman to teach ), apparently there were some who were speaking up in the church out of turn while the minister was trying to teach the newness in Christ.
1 Cor 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
34 Let your women keep silent in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also says the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
Paul was simply trying to get order in the church, that those of the new faith could be taught a-right and be replenished by Gods spiritual laws,
1 Cor 2.12-13
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
Jesus came to set the captive free. The women were held into bondage to man under the carnal law of their times.
John 11.25-26
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die.
Luke 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
Luke 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
20:37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses showed at the bush, when he calls the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
20:38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.
Whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels.
In the kingdom of God we are neither male nor female, but become as the angels are.
Jesus said (repent the kingdom of heaven is at hand). Those that have invited Jesus into their lives are now in the kingdom of God. If we are baptized in the Holy Ghost we are spiritually speaking neither male nor female but spirit. For in the kingdom of God there is no flesh but Spiritual. God calls things that are not into existence as though they are.
1 Cor 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
This is the spiritual laws of God that were laid down of times of old. We are to seek the Spirit of the Living God in all matters,
Now I agree some are not able to set under a woman of authoritatively positions. I once could not; it takes a work of God and self to change some things in our life. Nevertheless, if one chose’s not to set under the authority of a woman, that is entirely up to the individual and God.
So I say if there are not enough men attaining to the ability to let Christ be the head; then let the ladies come forth.
Never the less come Lord Jesus however you may.
2nd Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
6 Who also has made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.
Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
I was raised by Lutheran parents and was confirmed Lutheran up until the age of 14. Shortly before I turned 15 a transformation took place in me and I realized that the Lutheran faith was little more than a dead religion. Needless to say, my natural father was not impressed. He insisted that I attend Concordia College, where I first studied religion officially. I have read many Bibles since then and, in so doing, concluded that the most accurate and reliable version was indeed the Authorized King James version. You may disagree and that is your prerogative; but as for me and my family, we do not subscribe to the use of New Age Bibles — that includes the unauthorized NKJV. I have published my regards concerning Zondervan in my communications here already. Zondervan will not be publishing my material. Now to address your words apart from the New Age scriptures:
You stated: There is a difference between; accepting Jesus and being baptized in water; than being baptized with the Holy Ghost.
Amen. I might add that the burden of proof is upon every Christian who would claim otherwise to establish their view with scripture. He or she will always be wanting for lack of scripture. A baptism is a burial and it is the old man that has died to sin who must be buried afterward. Here we have a splendid example of One Lord, one faith, one baptism: For the immersion of a body that has not died to sin is not nearly the same thing as burying a corpse. Those who are still alive in their sin are only kidding themselves when they undergo a burial ceremony and resurrect themselves in a sinful condition. This is not baptism. They have accomplished little more than receiving a good soaking for naught. Those who have truly died to sin shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and this is that actual baptism of the inward man which is accomplished through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I might add here that there is also evidence provided of GOD whereby the assembly is granted a Witness concerning them that are His:
And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? (See Acts Chapter 10, verses 45-47)
Please allow me to break it down:
FACT: On the Gentiles was poured the gift of the Holy ghost. (verse 45)
FACT: The reason Peter knew this to be the case is because [for] they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify GOD. (verse 46) Wherefore it is indisputable that speaking in tongues is evidence of receiving the GIFT (not "gifts) of the Holy Ghost. This is that baptism of fire from on high. It was also at that point that Peter rendered water baptism to the Gentiles, seeing that they had already died to sin and were revived by the Holy Spirit. This is that Witness from on high.
You say: If you have been truly baptized with the spirit of God then you should seek to be led of and taught by the Spirit of God.
Amen. Ephesians Four also reads as follows:
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
"For the perfecting of the saints..." seems clear enough. It would be foolhardy to attempt to receive any of this from someone who did not receive the Holy Spirit. How can any be led of the Holy Spirit without the Holy Spirit? But the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers that are indeed what Paul said they were, then these are of the Holy Spirit and have been given for the purpose leadership and edification in the body of Christ.
You say: In the following Paul was referring to the people as carnal not yet spiritual, so he took advantage of the carnal laws keeping order in the church that the Lord might be able to bring them out of the fleshy mindedness into the spiritual. (Suffer not a woman to teach ), apparently there were some who were speaking up in the church out of turn while the minister was trying to teach the newness in Christ.
Apparently so. (Not that this is exactly uncommon.) Howbeit, appearances can be deceiving and for the sakes of the weak, as well as the strong in faith, it is unseemly that a woman should exercise authority over any man in the church at any time. I am of the persuasion that Paul meant exactly what he said when he stated: "Suffer not a woman to teach", but I also believe that he meant this specifically with respect to teaching men. A woman in the body of Christ certainly has enough on her agenda as it is, teaching children and women. Although I agree that the woman is the help meet of the man and that man was not made for the woman but the woman for the man, men are still required of GOD to regard women as the weaker vessels and should not place burdens upon them that are greater than they can bear. Any woman offended by these words needs to check herself. Pride cometh before the falling.
You say: "Paul was simply trying to get order in the church, that those of the new faith could be taught a-right and be replenished by Gods spiritual laws"; but I say Paul was not simply "trying" anything. Paul was indeed establishing the correct, godly order in the body of Christ. I have little reason to believe that he was not met with opposition in the church for this. Doubtlessly, certain in the assembly found Paul's words very trying; but I hardly believe that Paul's directive in claiming that a woman should not usurp the authority of a man in church was merely to try those spirits which were (and are) hostile toward godly authority in the church.
You say that "Jesus came to set the captive free. The women were held into bondage to man under the carnal law of their times." Women today are still held in bondage to men for the same reasons their female predecessors were. Wherefore if any having no neccessity of the flesh would lend themselves to marriage, there will most certainly be trouble in the flesh; whereas those who do not marry, having no neccessity, do better. Jesus certainly came to set the captives free, but inasmuch as two become one flesh every time that they freely join in the flesh, they twain are also in bondage to one another. There are other bonds worthy of receiving in the body of Christ and a quick search of the scriptures will verify this. The apostle Paul even referred to himself as one in bonds even though Paul was unmarried when he made this statement. So by the words of Paul the student learns that bondage is not always a "bad" thing; but if the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of GOD.
You say: In the kingdom of God we are neither male nor female, but become as the angels are.
Amen. And it is our spiritual duty while we yet dwell in these mortal bodies of flesh and blood that we also submit to the perfect will of GOD, walking in the Spirit and not after the flesh, abiding in the calling wherein we are called, whether female or male, servant or master, bondsman or free. In so doing, men and women alike learn proper humility before GOD, and likewise grant both genders the proper respect that is due to each, in accordance with GOD's moral law, which the saints of GOD are required of GOD to establish.
You say: This is the spiritual laws of God that were laid down of times of old. We are to seek the Spirit of the Living God in all matters, Now I agree some are not able to set under a woman of authoritatively positions.
The spiritual laws of GOD have not changed and neither does GOD's moral law change. Neither was the man made for the woman, but the woman for the man. The New Age egalitarian agenda is nothing less than an abomination in the Sight of GOD, opening the flood gates to all manner of spiritual uncleanness and filthy doctrines of devils; hence that spirit of Jezebel still prevails in the churches unto this day and the LORD will verily punish her (Revelation 2) and all them that commit (spiritual) adultery with her. Any man submitting himself under the headship of a woman brings shame upon his own head and consequently represents a complete disgrace to the sanctity and holiness of the body of Christ. If the ladies must come forth to rule over men they surely won't be ladies for long. They might well be women, but they certainly won't be ladies. Evenso, Lord Jesus come. Jezebel get thee hence!
Thus saith the LORD GOD of Israel:
Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people. (Isaiah 3:11-13)
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. (Jeremiah 6:16)
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-19)
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
(Romans 3:31)
Check yourself, brother. Who hath bewitched you that you should believe such an abominable lie? You have a duty to fulfill before GOD as a man, if you are a man. Gird your loins and be a man. In other words, get out of that dress and get some pants on! You do verily err in submitting to the headship of a woman if you are a man. The churches of GOD have no such custom. May the LORD JESUS open your eyes that you might receive the full Bible truth.
GOD bless you

Dennis Williams said:JACOB EDWARD KING said:As I mentioned before we have views differing on some things.

May GOD be with you
You said;( Though our mortal bodies of flesh and blood bear corruption, incorruption is born of that spiritual body) (We will be as angels...
2nd Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
2nd Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
