You need the peace of the Holy Spirit, then  the love and joy will come from God

If you want to talk, let me know. And watch the movie on the Home page,

Charles Spurgeon, The People's Preacher. He felt like you many time in his life.

The place of Darkness; Charles Spurgeon would call it.

God Bless Frank

Sometimes it seems like we can't hear God anymore and we wonder if he hears us.  He always hears us.  I've felt like that. I remember one year when I had a roommate slander me up and down.  I prayed for an entire year and it seemed like God was silent.  He was but it didn't mean he wasn't working. At the end of that year, I was vindicated.  He always hears our cries and our tears.

Wen you cry out to God and say you are sorry, He always hears you. He promised to never leave us nor forsake us. That He will be with us in the good times and in the bad times; but it is in the bad time (like this) that you learn to trust Him more.
May I suggest that you put on a praise CD and even if you don't "feel like it" start praising God and giving Him thanks for all the wonderful things He has already done in your life. It is from the heart that praise come - not from our minds, which control our emotions.

I would even expect that you will shortly come back on this  website with a "praise report" for what God is not doing in your life.
Rejoice!! for this is a new day in Christ Jesus!!!

You are protcted by God that protection you want refused? this way?The grate God give you birth on the earth you refusing entair plan of GOD about you.you are choosing devil thoughts but not God. be prepare to answer to God not to us.We are praying for believers but not devil.Thankig you John 3:16

Dear Rebecca: In addition to the many encouraging messages that have repled to your blog, I would simply add that the very fact that you are reaching out means our Father is working in you. Be patient with Him and yourself--He wants you two to grow even closer to each other, personally (the Holy Spirit).

Talk and listen in your spirit as you lay comfortably in His arms, meditating on Him (listening time, communion time). Let the Holy Spirit lead you, through Jesus with the Holy Spirit giving you God's favor--His answers, His wisdom, His will that He tells us to ask for--and He gives these things "abundantly". Don't be shy--open up your deepest questions to Him, then wait for His gentle, loving, encouraging voice to answer you, in some form--whether through His revealed Word as you research the Biblical values that constitute Father's personality and Character, or through your spirit but always test the preponderance of every doctrine to make certain none of the Sriptures are being misused, or even out of context.

Claim this understanding to be put upon you as His precious daughter with a pure heart, and expect miracles to happen--just be prepared to send Him 'thank You' notes--(praise to Him reports), giving Him all credit (glory). Father, like us, thoroughly enjoy 'thank you' notes : )

Your brother in Christ,

Mark Diaz

Dear Rebecca,

The comment above from Mark Diaz says it all.Just remember GOD IS LOVE.It is ALL about Love on this journey we are on.

Another Brother in Christ,

Steve

Ty for your "ENCOURAGING" comments although im still a bit confused with the comment Samuel John.P
Im actually a bit worried about that now..:/

Dear Rebecca--Father does not use a 2X4 to hit us over the head to get our attention--Jesus' words were never harsh or brutal to the ones seeking Him--I would suggest that anyone who tries this tactic do a Scriptural word search and see how many times the words 'gentle', 'kind', 'loving' and, 'humility' are used when describing how we are to treat one another and even our enemies.

Your brother in Christ,

Love Mark

Dear Rebecca: I am a member of the American Association Of Christian Counselors (http://www.aacc.net/, 50,000 members world-wide). I received my accreditation through Liberty University, http://www.liberty.edu/aboutliberty/:

A large part of my ministry in Pastoral Soul Care is devoted to situations just like yours. We are all works in progress and Christians need other Christians in order to make it in this currently broken world. Paul needed Barnabas, for example, Timothy needed Paul, on and on. Please call me if you need someone to talk to, there is never any charge for what we do. Among other things, I am a 59 year old Grandfather, there is not much that I have not seen. 406-298-0924.

Your brother in Christ,

Christian love,

Mark

Dear Rebecca: What our Father has always wanted, above everything else--more than sacrifices, more than 'religion', is for us to know Him personally, to know Him as a person--He is our Creator and Sustsainer--He is also, under the New Covenant of Grace through Jesus, our best Friend, our Helper, and Comforter. He has a personality; a sense of humor, He can be made grumpy, and downright angry (just as we can) and there are certain behaviors that we do that can even grieve Him (make Him cry).

It doesn't take much to make Him smile and be proud of us--to make Him feel generous--it starts with salvation (permanent life with Him in perfection of fulfillment)--but that is just the beginning. As we grow from being 'baby Christians' we mature and eventually have an adult Father/child relationship--and that never stops, He has forever in which to work in, with and through us.

Building faith is a progressive process--Even the first apostles started out slow, made many mistakes and even after nearly living to be one hundred years of age, the ones who lived that long were still fallible humans--But God's Grace and Patience is greater than their human mistakes. Peter denied Him 3 times--all of the men but John ran away afraid they would be arrested during and directly after His Crucification.

Grace does not exist as a license either--He reads our hearts and knows if we are sincere. Conviction exists for the learning process, the getting closer to Him process--conviction does not exist for the pleasure of someone else in the name of Christianity to go around 'thumping sinners on the head'--The Holy Spirit is the one Who does the convicting--our fellow Christians are to be encouraging--admonish means to encourage, not yell or forcefully intimidate. There are dozens of Scriptures that support this, and I would be happy to give you several hours of Scriptural teaching on this--but rest assured Rebecca, that He will reveal Himself to you through His Word--even without a human being present to teach you--He promises this all through Scripture.

Please do the following: Get a Bible, go to a quiet place--no distractions, no cell phones etc. Say a prayer, through Jesus, and acknowledge the Holy Spirit as God on earth in Spiritual form and ask for His Wisdom and guidance--ask Him to reveal Himself to you as you read the Bible--and He will. He promises to do so and He does not, cannot lie. You will know that it is Him--something that only you can appreciate--and know it--if you do this with a sincere heart to know Him.

I suggest the Gospel of John for this reading as it is the Gospel that was written for all people. The book of Matthew was written specifically for the Jews, Mark for the Romans and Luke for the Greeks but John was written for all cultures.

Please do this, and expect Father to reveal Himself to you.

Christian love,

Mark

Dear friend,

I need to tell about Love of God who express in OT Duet.6:4.It is eternal that love God wants to put in to our hearts.Jesus says in Mark 12:28-34.God always wants to live in our hearts through HIS love.Same Gospel mentioned in John 3:16.As this was dificity in Peter caused Jesus Asked in John: 21:15-18. so It acts in us as mentions in proverbs 10: 12 and ! peter 4:8. We need this love for ever in our life success in Christ Jesus.God lead you in this littl bibilical vers.

In Christ
