Hello everyone and welcome to part 2 Absolute Proof from the Bible that Saturday is the Sabbath Day! Lets begin shall we.

Friday  

⁵² This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.⁵³ And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.⁵⁴ And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on. Luke 23:52-54 Good Friday

Saturday

⁵⁵ And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.⁵⁶ And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment. Luke 23:55-56 The Sabbath

Sunday

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. Matt 28:1 Easter Sunday

The "Preparation Day" for the Jews was the day before the Sabbath day. Jesus was crucified and put to death on this day which we now call "Good Friday" . The Sabbath Arrived at sundown Friday, and lasted till sundown Saturday then on early Sunday morning (the first day of the week) it was discovered that the tomb was empty and Jesus had risen! This is the day we call Easter Sunday. Saturday is the Lord's Sabbath Day! For More proof please read this statement.

Luke 4:16   Jesus lived here among us on our world for approximately 33 years, and this means that he participated in 1700 7thday Sabbaths! Yes, 1700 Saturday Sabbaths! one a week for 33 yrs!          Now, if "Sunday" were supposed to be Holy, Don't you think that Jesus himself would have told us?? Hardly! Jesus never blessed a single day he worked on every one of those "1700 Sundays"!! And he honored God by keeping 1700 7th Day Sabbaths. The Bible says "For I am the LORD, I change not" Malachi 3:6  Number 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.   Wow! Isn't it amazing that God does not change He keeps his promises! Just like he told us to keep his Sabbath Day. He wants us to honor his Holy Day Sabbath.
