JEREMIAH'S COMPLAINT
JEREMIAH HAD ONCE COMPLAINED TO THE LORD THAT HE DID NOT WANT TO SPEAK OF HIS WORD BECAUSE DIFFICULT TIMES WOULD COME HIS WAY. WHEN THINKING ON SITUATIONS THAT COME OUR WAY, WHAT TOOLS DO YOU THINK WE SHOULD USE WHEN FIGHTING THEM AND LETTING GOD KNOW THAT WE ARE STILL HOLDING ON TO HIM?

I understand Jeremiah's complaint. The more active and effective I am for God, the more Satan and his minions attack me. If I truly feel I am being called to God's ministry and doing His work (not my own agenda, regardless of how good my intentions are) I read (study, pore over) His word and pray for His strength and help. I look to Paul, John, and Peter as examples, and praise God that I am worthy to be used by Him.
