Unfortunately, the media (including Hollywood, the dish and satellite systems) and general broadcast TV is populated with a high volume of post-modern, atheist and agnostic persons. They are articulate, well funded and make their case in a way that seems to make all believers appear like bigots, religious (or as atheist Bill Maher says, "religulous"). Unfortunately, the church has not reacted or confronted these attacks in an effective way. Sunday sermons are not meeting the assaults head on, articulate atheists like Hitchens and Dawkins are rarely challenged, the volume is louder each day.

One weapon in this media "war" that can begin to turn the tide is Internet TV. This new technology will enable users to bypass cable, dish and satellite programming that is promoted by vendors in packages.

Although many providers do list Christian channels, they still push "adult" channels. Can you in good conscience support this even passively ? Doerstv.com, god.tv, and a growing number of Christian and Faith based internet TV providers can equal and exceed the subscribers that the secular vendors promote.

As families and individuals abandon and reject the trash on dish and direct tv maybe Hollywood will get the message: "we don't buy it, we don't want it, keep it to yourself".

BibleInteract.com will begin programming this September. in planning stages are programs on Bible study, online courses (already available,) and real and useful "reality TV" that will help solve problems and issues with the Bible as a source, not some well paid "talking head" type.

ITV can turn the tide, and like God used the Red Sea to save His people,this technological wave can help His church declare His Word over the shouts and jeers of unbelievers.
